A few changes from when we first launched the upgrade kits a few years ago.
1. The Forend:
We are still using Magpul Zhukov forend, however the adapter will now be smooth, it will not have the stepped down lines like the ones we have received to date, and that is listed in the description of our shotgun product page. This is a product enhancement in manufacturing, because it uses a smoothed-out machining process versus a step-down machine process making the forend smooth and clean. See photos with our logo.
2. The Stock Adapter:
This stock adapter has a Spring Tensioned Bolt Recoil Buffer. The specifically designed GG&G Spring Tensioned Bolt Recoil Buffer is very similar to the bolt recoil buffer designed by the Beretta engineers, and is installed in all the factory 1301's to absorb the shock of the bolt under recoil, and stop the bolt from striking the rear of the aluminum receiver causing operational damage. This will fit the GG&G Beretta 1301 adapters and both Magpul Stocks.
3. The Side Saddle:
We are using the Side Saddle form GG&G, as it's more secure and works on cerakote shotguns better than 3M Sticky Tape. A few things to note, this Six Step Saddle is VERY snug when you first get it. We recommend inserting and removing shells a few times to 'grease' the slots.
