Beretta 92 Maintenance schedule from Ernest Langdon:
Recoil springs should be replaced every 5,000 rounds (10,000 for Chrome Silicon springs).
A full top end rebuild and detail clean should be performed at 10,000 rounds (especially if you dry fire a lot) as well as replace the trigger return spring and trigger bar spring.
The LTT Top-end Rebuild includes the firing pin, firing pin plunger, firing pin spring, firing pin block, extractor, & extractor spring.
The Locking Block should last to 20,000 rounds, however we normally recommend replacement at 15,000 to be on the safe side, as waiting until the block is completely worn out can lead to frame damage, and sometimes lead to a completely locked up pistol.
This recommended maintenance schedule will serve to keep the gun running 100% for the longest time possible.
